Long delays are expected in Leeds this weekend due to the full closure of Armley Gyratory.
The roundabout, which is one of the main routes into the centre of Leeds, shut at 8pm last night (Fri) and will not reopen until 5.30am on Monday.
The weekend-long closure means many road users could face huge diversions of up to 13 miles. The council has urged people to plan ahead before they travel.

Road users have also been urged to leave their car at home and travel into Leeds city centre via public transport instead.
Armley Gyratory has been closed to allow for a number of changes to be put into place ahead of a major revamp of the roundabout. A 30mph speed limit will be enforced, as well as narrower lanes and other traffic management measures to allow improvements to be carried out.
