Saturday morning’s sunny spells will not be hanging around for long in Leeds, according to the Met Office.
The city looks set for an overcast weekend with chilly temperatures forecast throughout. Highs of 11C are expected on Sunday, but today (Sat) will be slightly cooler.
The Met Office is predicting “a cold start with bright sunshine” across Yorkshire today. But it has warned the sun will quickly disappear behind clouds – and some rain is possible in the afternoon.

According to the forecaster, it will be an overcast day in Leeds on Saturday with the morning’s sunny spells set to disappear by 11am. Temperatures will reach 9C in the afternoon. The sun will rise at 6.21am and set again at 7.56pm.
Conditions will be slightly better on Sunday with a sunny start to the day expected. Clouds will roll in again by lunchtime but it will be slightly warmer in the city, with highs of 11C forecast.
The sun will rise at 6.19am with sunset expected at 7.58pm.
