A man has suffered serious injuries in Bradford Road crash in Farsley
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called to Bradford Road, Pudsey, at about 2.26pm following a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
“The male pedestrian suffered very serious injuries in the incident.
“A number of road closures are in place on the A647 and Dawson’s Corner nearby and the incident is ongoing.
“Drivers are urged to avoid the area.”

A car overturned this morning at around 07:40 within the stretch of the M62 exit and entry slip roads, where the road re-opened at 13:10.

A1(M) Northbound remains closed
A1(M) Northbound remains closed, queueing traffic due to accident investigation work at J41 M62 J32A.
The accident happened at around 07:40 this morning within the stretch of the M62 exit and entry slip roads.
Diversion – via M62 Westbound, exit at J32 and head back Eastbound on the M62 to re-join the A1(M).

A1M shuts after serious crash
Drivers are being diverted away from the A1M near Castleford after a serious crash this morning (Monday).
National Highways Yorkshire has shared that the A1M northbound is closed after a crash at J41 M62 J32A.
Diversions have been put in place while West Yorkshire Police and the Highways team are at the scene.

Lanes reopen
All lanes open have reopened on the M1 Northbound between J40 A638 Wakefield Road (Ossett / Wakefield) and J41 A650 (Carrgate) after the broken down van removed.
The carriageway is now back to normal.

Armley Gyratory reopen
A huge roundabout that underwork major works over the weekend in Leeds has reopened.
It was due to open this morning (Monday) but opened a day earlier than expected.
