Leeds United sensation Archie Gray is now attracting a lot of interest across England, according to the Daily Record.
The Scottish outlet has reported on their website that the Whites have a “hot property” on their hands with mega interest mooted.
Gray is, of course, eligible for Scotland, but currently plies his trade with England, captaining their under-16s.
Gray has been the name on everyone’s lips at Elland Road this season, with Marcelo Bielsa taking a shining to him.
Despite not yet being seen at first-team level on the pitch, he has taken major steps towards that huge achievement.
Only 15-years-old at the time, Gray was named on the bench for the 2-1 defeat against Spurs earlier in the season.
Recent weeks have seen him smash into the under-23s squad, scoring a memorable goal against Manchester United at Elland Road.
No chance.
Marsch and his team need to make sure that Gray is one of those that never leave Elland Road, not now, not in years to come.
The 16-year-old is the future of this club, and he will have dreams of following his family members and becoming an icon in West Yorkshire.
Penning his first long-term professional contract is nearly here, and Leeds needs to make sure the terms of that reflect his huge promise.
No matter who is sniffing around, Gray needs to be made special and given the chance to show his worth after that.
The Gray name looks like it will be carried on long into the future in West Yorkshire, and it’s going to be a very special ride that’s for sure.
