Patrick Bamford is continuing to work his way back to fitness amid Leeds United’s fight against relegation in the Premier League.
Leeds have been without Bamford for large parts of this season owing to ankle, hamstring and now foot injuries.
His latest setback came after Jesse Marsch had hurried him back into action following his appointment, with Bamford aggravating a foot problem in the win over Wolves.

There’s an outside chance the striker could return before the end of the season, yet he’s getting to work in the gym and focusing on that side of things, as Leeds revealed yesterday on Twitter, posting pictures of him ‘Hip Thrusting’.
In response to that, Bamford hit back, suggesting he “was just getting warm” in Leeds’ post, revealing an image of himself with an extra 50kg on the bar and his thumbs up.
It’s been an awful season for Bamford and you could forgive him if he was down in the dumps after his injury luck.
However, to see him so upbeat and posting updates like this is great. It shows his problems this season haven’t worn him down and he’s clearly working towards coming back fitter and stronger.
That kind of infectious personality around the training ground will be hugely important, too, given Bamford is part of the leadership group under Marsch.
He’s setting an example, even when he’s not available to be playing, which is difficult to do.
It’s great to see him still playing his part in a roundabout way.

Has Bamford scored more or less for Leeds than Jack Charlton?
