Leeds Half Marathon 2022 road closures in city centre and Kirkstall this weekend
Leeds Half Marathon is set to return to the city and there will be a number of road closures in place.
Happening on Sunday, May 8 we’ll see massive numbers of people all doing their bit. Running alongside the half marathon will also be Arena Group Leeds Fun Run.
Official charity partners include the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Alzheimer’s Society, Leeds Hospitals Charity, Candlelighters and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Leeds Half Marathon is organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, in partnership with Leeds City Council, while Arena Group returns as the title sponsor of the Leeds Fun Run – a 1.2km family fun run.
To ensure the smooth running of the event there will be road closures in place across Leeds. From 4am on Sunday, May 8 some closures will begin and closures will begin at 8.30am. The final closure on the Headrow will be removed at 3.30pm.
