A Harehills restaurant has been getting rave reviews on Tripadvisor with a perfect five-star overall rating.
Diners at Yokohama Korean and Japanese Restaurant have called it “the best”, heaping praise on the Roundhay Road eatery. It has received more than 450 reviews, with the food, service and value all highly rated.
An overwhelming number of visitors showered praise on the venue with 407 diners calling it ‘excellent’, the highest rating possible. The menu offers a range of Japanese sushi, seafood, meat and tofu dishes.

One reviewer, Adam K, called it “the best”. He said: ” Hands down the best Asian restaurant in the area. I’ve been on weekdays and weekends altogether more than I can count, such flavourful foods, loads of meat options, fantastic.”
Tezza77 agreed, she said: “Went for a weekday evening meal and every dish was soo tasty! Definitely worth a visit for fresh, authentic and tasty Korean food with attentive and friendly staff. The Kanpung gi (Korean fried chicken) is a must have!”
Suzanne S called it a ’10/10′ restaurant, she said: “Really had a fantastic evening. From start to finish. Great service and good quality food. First time and definitely won’t be my last.”
Jay called it simply ‘outstanding’, he said: “Wonderful experience in Leeds! Foods were great and authentic. Whenever you visit Leeds, you must visit Yokohama! It’s an outstanding Korean restaurant!”
Yokohama also has a 4.9 rating on Google with more than 1,028 reviews being submitted. The restaurant management describe their venue as: ” Easygoing, modern fixture doling out Japanese & Korean cuisine, plus wine & Asian spirits.”
