Cody Drameh had a superb loan spell away from Leeds United during the second-half of 2021/22, thriving for Cardiff City in the Sky Bet Championship.
Leeds have since welcomed Drameh back to Thorp Arch, with the young right-back armed with various awards from his time in South Wales.
He’s still got Luke Ayling and Stuart Dallas to compete with in Jesse Marsch’s squad, whilst the new Leeds head coach has landed Rasmus Kristensen’s service in an impressive transfer swoop.
What’s next for Drameh, then?
It’s quite common knowledge that Steve Morison was desperate to get his hands back on Drameh towards the end of the 2021/22 season.
The 20-year-old featured 22 times in the Championship, registering three assists for Cardiff.
However, Morison has added two new right-backs to his squad on Wednesday, agreeing deals for Mahlon Romeo and Vontae Daley-Campbell, both of whom have signed three-year contracts.
Leeds United quiz: Is Elland Road’s capacity higher or lower than these 15 EFL stadiums?

Is Elland Road’s capacity higher or lower than Bramall Lane?
You never say never in football, but it looks increasingly likely that Drameh will not be heading back to Cardiff after Wednesday’s deals.
Morison wanted him back, yet for him to move onto two different options before Leeds have made a decision on Drameh suggests he and Cardiff have moved on.
For what it’s worth, you do feel that there’s going to be another opportunity for Drameh to head out on loan again.
Kristensen should be Marsch’s right-back, whilst Ayling and Dallas (when fit) will provide senior cover, opening the door for Drameh to continue developing.
Look, he might still end up at Cardiff as we know they rate him, it just feels like, right now, it’ll be someone else that gets the chance to develop the youngster if he moves out.
